Throwback Post: April showers bring May flowers.

You never really know where you stand with people until the life event invites start rollin' in. To my surprise this month I was invited to 3 baby showers and a first birthday party (yes, the title is a ode to the chirren who'll be born in May). I love the kids and love to show love to the people close to me. So for the last 2 weeks I've been knee-deep in party planning mode and emcee mode.

First up was a trip to Atlanta for my friend's first baby shower! She asked me to co-emcee with our other friend so of course we agreed (even though social settings make me sweat sometimes..heh). To prep we counted teddy grahams for a guess-how-many game, poured honey into the favor jars and made tags for each one, poured juice for the bottle drinking game and dropped food off the morning of! Now it usually takes me 2hours to be my best self when I know I'm stepping out somewhere and baby time was CRUNCHING okay? But we made it! It was such a great event filled with lots of love for the parents-to-be.

My next porty, was for my first godbaby, Harper Ann who turned a whole year old! I couldn't believe it I was just beside myself the whole day. Her mother and I had been planning this party since November 2022 scouting venues, choosing vendors and entertainment and all that. Since I like to stay busy, I volunteered to do a few DIYs like the center pieces, 4ft marquee number, welcome sign, signage stand, cupcake toppers, and then printing and filling the monthly milestone pics. It all came together so beautifully! Unfortunately my pictures weren’t the best, but Harper's mom got all the goods that you can check out on her IG here.

I won't be able to attend the other events this month because of a life update, but I'm cheering for all the soon-to-be parents and new parents in my life. It really takes a village and I'm honored to even be in the number.

Well, that's all for now. Byeee!
