Throwback Post: Q1 Wrap Up

As on-brand as I can be, I'm late with my check-in for my Q1 goals...my bad. March and April kicked my ass, ya’ll but like Goonica says- I’m still standing! So let's just get into it and review what I said back in December shall we:

In Q1 I'd like to...

🌱 Launch my brand
Unfortunately, when I planned to pull the trigger on this I had to uproot myself. So this goal is just delayed NOT denied.

💓Say affirmations in the mirror daily
This goal lasted about 2 solid months before I fell off, which I think is progress considering I went from never doing this to going 7 days a week with it.

📚Read 3 books
Probably the easiest goal I set and crushed in January. GO ME!

💪Start using 15lb hand weights
I used 15lb weights when I visited my friend at the end of March so while I didn't own the weights, it still happened.

Complete a 30 day devotional
I searched high and low for a physical devotional that spoke to where I was in life currently and I landed on Grace is Enough by Courtney Fidell. It was so timely and I loved how she incorporated her personal stories with the scripture of that days message.

😅Do 3 things I've never done before (places to visit or activities)
When I wrote this, I planned on doing activities I wouldn't normally gravitate toward like sky diving or something. Instead, my extremely shy self was an emcee at a party, ate chicken in a waffle cone lol, and hiked? at a national park and survived!!!

The first quarter of the year was cute and all, but Q2 came in so hot I didn't really have time to reflect and properly plan for what I want it to look like. In Q2 I'd like to...

✅Pass all of my exams
🏋️‍♀️Start 75 Medium
🍸Visit 3 restaurants solo
🤓Download Hinge (2 week max)

After all the pushback I’ve given friends who’ve mentioned I “get on the apps” I can’t believe I got here lol I’m telling myself that it's all part of the "trying new things" theme that seems to keep following me this year. Lord knows, I'm excited for these experiences to learn even more about myself, what I like and what I don't.

Well, that's all for now. Byeee!
